Holden
Chapel is a nondenominational church that welcomes people from a variety of backgrounds. Our
Doctrinal Overview reflects our confidence in the Bible as God's Word and in Jesus Christ as the
only source of salvation and eternal life. Our beliefs can be found on the 'Our Beliefs' page of
this web site.
Holden Chapel structures its leadership on relationships and trust. We
believe the biblical model of leadership is that of a servant.
Relationships matter to us. We
want you to connect with friends who can encourage you on your spiritual journey. Your connection
with friends is also the best way to encourage and serve others. It is through these relational
connections that our mission of strengthening families and impacting our world is realized. A wide
variety of small group experiences are available - they are designed to help you make some great new
friends where you can live together, laugh together, grow together and serve
together.
Our worship service is focused on encountering God. The atmosphere
is unpretentious and welcoming. The music is upbeat, heartfelt and God-focused. As pastor, I teach
from the Bible in a down-to-earth way that makes it real, alive and applicable for everyday
life.
A safe and secure nursery and children's ministry is provided during service.
Children are also always welcome in our services. Your children are a high priority at Holden
Chapel. Caring adults and trained leaders provide excellent care and biblical teaching at
age-appropriate levels. We have relevant ministry opportunities for 6th - 12th graders, such as
Elevate on Wednesday nights - an environment specifically designed for teens - and a variety of
special small group activities throughout each month.
We invite you to come and
be part of the Holden Chapel community - you matter to God and to us!
