The mission of Children's Ministry at Holden Chapel

is to partner with parents

to equip their children with an understanding of God's Word

that leads to a vibrant faith in Jesus Christ

JOIN US SUNDAY MORNING !

Nursery care available for ages 3 months - 3yrs

9 AM SUNDAY SCHOOL Preschool- grade 5

Focus on authentic Christianity:

*age appropriate Bible lessons,

*building friendships

*cultivating prayerful hearts

*mission activities ( local and worldwide)

10:15 AM WORSHIP SERVICE

Children are always welcome to sit with their parents during Worship service.

We also have a Family Room which allows parents to listen to and watch the service through one way glass while their children play. The Family Room has a couch and chairs, a changing table, toys and private area for nursing moms. It is located behind the sanctuary. You will find the door to the Family Room on the far right of the main foyer.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY PROGRAMS DURING WORSHIP SERVICE

Nursery care available for ages 3 months - 3 yrs

For preschool- grade 5

CHILDREN'S CHURCH Preschool- grade1

Children stay in the same self contained classrooms as Sunday School hour. Bible lessons correspond with the Sunday School hour to build greater understanding. Lessons include Bible read aloud, prayer, worship , craft or activity to teach Biblical concept, snack and playtime.

JR CHURCH Grades 2- 5

Children sit with their parents in service and are dismissed from Worship Service at 10:30 to meet their teacher's in the SMALL CHAPEL . JR Church is a Children's Worship Service that includes Worship Music and engaging Bible lessons with life applications.

No JR Church on Communion Sundays (1st Sunday of each month)

All children need to be signed in and signed out of classes

NURSERY ON SUNDAY MORNINGS

Safe, loving nursery care for infants through toddlers.

Each Nursery is maintained by a dedicated Volunteer Nursery Coordinator under the supervision of the Children's Ministry Director.

Nursery I Infants and Early Walkers ( 3months -18 months)

Nursery II Toddlers ( 18 months - 3 years) Children in Nursery II are taught a brief, age appropriate Bible lesson.

Our Preschool class for Sunday School, Children's Church and Holden Christian Academy is located in the center room next to our Nurseries.

Wednesday Evening Program

AWANA - "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed"

AWANA Meets weekly 6:30-8pm

Come early and join us for supper 5:30- 6:30pm

It is a Bible-centered club that includes game time, scripture & Bible lessons.

Clubs for ages Preschool- grade 5

Cubbies- Preschoolers

Sparks- K-grade 2

T&T- grades 3-5

Prayer Movement Has Begun!!

We hope you will join with us as a body to move forward in our call to become a House of Prayer for all nations.
We have planned many opportunities for you to grow in and practice prayer together leading up to Easter 2010!
